Adaptive Biofeedback Graphic

Conventional biofeedback uses a measuring device to generate a pure physical metric to the user. In the ivory towers of biofeedback, this is usually the EEG, also known as “Brainwaves”. In such a classical form of biofeedback, the patient will “concentrate” or “relax” to get the metric to change.

SlimSmart utilizes biofeedback, but it is in the form of your weight as measured from your bathroom scale¹. You will need a fairly good scale to use Adaptive Biofeedback. You will stand on your scale every day or so, and correct the value in your SlimSmart device.

SlimSmart will also collect some information about your behavior. After getting an idea of your behavior, it will start to suggest a new eating pattern.

SlimSmart will affect the PACE that you eat bites of food, and how many bites of food you take at each meal, the SIZE.

The AMOUNT OF FOOD YOU EAT is the most important variable to control. SlimSmart will constantly be at your side helping you to EAT SLOWER and LESS FOOD. By consistently eating less food, you will lose weight, safely, naturally and easily. Your eating behavior will change for the long-term as you learn new eating habits.

¹ Although we will generally describe using SlimSmart using the weight metric, it is certainly possible to use other metrics, such as waist measurement, % fat or any other number that should decrease as the behavior is slowed and limited.
