Eating In Auto Plan
- Check Meal Setting
There are seven meal settings, three main meals (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner) as well as
three after-meal snacks, and one "Extra" meal. SlimSmart will automatically attempt to
guess your next meal based on your prior behavior after your first day.
- Wear SlimSmart
Wear SlimSmart on your dress waistline, belt, pocket, or lap. It works
best to have it contact your body so you can FEEL the silent vibration prompts.
It doesn’t work as well to Listen or Watch SlimSmart.
This is the same as in Basic Plan.
- Press “Go”; Eat one bite for each Hum
Press “Go” to start the meal. SlimSmart
will give you one vibration, or Hum for each bite (mouthful of food) you should
take. Don’t stuff your mouth. Between Hums, enjoy your food, drink liquids, talk,
read, or anything else except eating. From the factory, it is set to 40 seconds
per bite, but you can set this to any time you find comfortable. The idea is to
substantially slow down your eating so you can feel full before you eat as much
as you normally would, just like Basic Plan.

- At 3-part Hum, take the Last Bite and Stop Eating
After SlimSmart has learned your habits, it will give you a three-part Hum-Hum-
Hum to signal that this is the last bite of the meal. It is important to stop
eating at that time. You will find that you are just about full, or will be in a
few minutes.
- Press “Stop” twice
Press Stop twice to stop and Log the meal. If you need to change the count of
bites for that meal, correct it before you press stop the second time. If you never press
stop the second time, SlimSmart will not log the meal in its memory.
