 Slow Down, Feel Full, Eat Less
Let’s agree on several things.
- There is a certain amount of food that you can eat and burn up
so you won’t gain weight and may even lose weight.
- Your feelings of fullness, or satiety, occurs about 20 minutes after
you eat. But there are milder feelings that occur prior to that. Plus, this time
varies somewhat from person to person.
- If you eat very fast, you will consume more before you feel full,
as shown by the Normal Eating Rate line.
